Entrepreneur Steven Marshank



Steven Marshank is an example of a successful Oregon entrepreneur. He has started several successful businesses in different sectors, including publishing, imports and exports, health care, and sales. Steven Marshank is an expert in business development and ways to grow small businesses. Now, through his consulting firm, Marshank Consulting, he works with other businesses to help them achieve the same success he has enjoyed in his many business endeavors throughout his career. Steven Marshank also started his own consulting company. Marshank Consulting has been a profitable business for more than 40 years. Steven Marshank is the President and CEO of Marshank Consulting, and manages all business operations for the company.
In the 1980s, Steven Marshank was an initial investor in LA Style Magazine. LA Style became profitable and eventually was sold to the American Express Publishing company. In Hollywood, he also helped to start the first Harley Davidson motorcycle shop in town. Showcase Cycles, his motorcycle, was a business success because he sold a great product and had a reputation for good service. Other businesses that he started include two herbal import companies- Flora Americadica Productos Officinas in Sao Paolo, Brazil, and Premier Herbs in the United States. He also started an import company to trade in precious metals and gems, and he owned two Asian import companies in the 1970s. Steven Marshank also founded ClubHGH, an online importer of generic drugs. When FDA regulations changed, he launched Talent Compounding Pharmacy in Talent, OR, which provided low cost generic drugs.
Steven Marshank mentors new businesses in ways that they can be profitable and manage their growth. He likes to work with companies that show promise to make a positive impact on their communities or sectors. For example, he has most recently focused on stem cell companies because he believes that stem cells are the best way to achieve health information breakthroughs. He recently consulted with a company that supports the implementation of stem cell research knowledge into clinical practice.
